I look forward to teaching you the Joy of children's massage. 

 

Children's massage written by the Massage in School Association (MISA) was founded by Mia Elmsäter & Sylvie Hétu from IAIM. This is a continuum for facilitating massage for the growing child and promoting hands on respect within the community.

This fun filled set of 3 workshop's for children will help reduce anxiety, boost confidence and promote positive communication. Games & a little theory followed by a (clothed) head and shoulder massage in which everyone take turns to give & receive child to parent, parent to child, sibling to sibling, or peer to peer. We end with a relaxation session to help children lean to completely unwind and off load after their busy day. The course may be facilitated within the school for peer to peer massage, or as a family workshop.

Children with additional needs are very welcome, and adaptations can be made to meet all their individual needs. This workshop is particularly good at helping children develop confidence and communication skills, whilst promoting calm and relaxation.
